LAUNCH WINDOW.
The Vector Tango beta championship. Six airports, one Competitive board at a time, 24 hours each. Post your best score while a board is open. The top three at each airport win.
How to fly it
Open Vector Tango and go to the Controller's Lounge from the main menu. Open EVENTS, then Launch Window, then the board that is open. Press the green PLAY key. You can also start Competitive at the open airport from the main menu. Play as many times as you like. Your best score during the board's 24 hours counts.
The game shows each board's times in your own time zone, and the Lounge shows the live podium for every board.

Badges
Badges are Meta achievements. They show on your Meta profile and in the WINGS tab of the Controller's Lounge. Everyone who posts a score during the championship earns the Launch Window badge.
Rules
The championship is open to current Vector Tango beta testers who play the Beta build while signed in to their Meta account. One Meta account per person.
Only Competitive scores posted while a board is open count for that board. Each player's best score counts. If two scores are equal, the higher route efficiency ranks first, then fewer near misses, then fewer missed handoffs.
The server awards the badges automatically after each board closes. We contact prize winners through Discord or the email linked to the beta.
Scores from modified games, shared accounts or any abuse of the game or its servers do not count, and we may remove them.
Fine print
Launch Window is run by Matthew Scobel (operating as Scobel Media), the developer of Vector Tango. It is a contest of skill. No purchase or payment is necessary, and the beta is free to join. Meta is not a sponsor and is not involved in the contest. Meta Store gift cards are available only in some countries; where a winner cannot use one, we give a prize of equal value. Keys are for Vector Tango on the Meta Horizon Store and have no cash value. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. A winner under the age of majority in their region needs a parent or guardian to accept the prize. We may change the schedule or these rules if something goes wrong, and we post any change on this page and in the beta Discord. Questions: ask in the beta Discord.
